Why not just send a PDF?

At DoneQuote you share a quote as a personal link, not as a PDF attachment. That's a deliberate choice.

A PDF is a snapshot. As soon as you change something (a price, a line, a date), the file the customer has in their inbox is no longer correct, and you have to send a new version. Before you know it, three PDFs are circulating and nobody knows which one is right.

The quote link solves that:

• Always current. The customer automatically sees the latest version. Change something and you don't have to resend anything.
• Approval in one click. The customer approves directly or asks a question on the page itself, without the back-and-forth of signatures on paper.
• Insight for you. You can see when the quote was viewed and when there's a response.
• Complete. Photos, attachments, and notes stay neatly together, on the phone too.
