Does AI use my own prices?

The AI doesn't invent rates. It uses the services and prices you entered in your service catalog. If you have "Interior painting" set at $38 per hour, that's the amount the AI uses. It doesn't fall back on market prices or averages.

If the AI recognizes a type of work for which there's no matching service in your catalog, it can add a service with an estimated price. In that case you'll see it clearly in the quote and can adjust the price or replace the service with one from your own catalog. It's always wise to review the quote before you send it.

Want the AI to never fill in prices itself when there's no match? Say so in your AI instructions: write that it may only use services that are in the catalog, and that it should add a note for missing services instead of estimating a price.
