How do quote versions work?

Every time you save a quote or make a larger change, DoneQuote saves a version. That way you keep a history of how the quote looked before. This is handy if a customer asks about the previous version, or if you accidentally changed something you didn't mean to.

You can view the version history from the quote page. Click the version icon or the "Versions" link to see an overview of earlier versions with their date and time. You can view an earlier version and restore it if needed.

Versions are created automatically; you don't have to do anything for it. The system works in the background, so you can just work without saving by hand all the time. Changes are saved automatically at regular intervals.
